Burger King Rolls Out Bacon Sundaes

This upcoming summer Burger King is set to release a new tagline from “Have It Your Way” to “Taste is King”. Along with this change in tagline, they have also decided to expand their menu with a more Southern feel starting with a bacon sundae. Burger King first tested this sweet, yet savory dessert in Nashville, TN and was a complete success.

This bacon sundae will consist of one strip of a thick-cut hardwood-smoked bacon strip, bacon crumbles on top of vanilla ice cream with caramel and chocolate topping if that wasn’t enough. The dessert has 18 grams of fat, 61 grams of sugar, totaling 510 calories per serving.

Other menu items will include sweet potato fries, frozen lemonades, and even a Memphis pulled pork sandwich. Those items seem appetizing but with this dessert I can’t quite get on board with. Will you give a try?
